The Newman Family
Behind every bag of lettuce, every fresh vegetable and every farm box we offer are the people who tend and harvest each crop with dedication. Our family believes in honest, responsible farming, and we’re proud to bring the freshest lettuce, a wide variety of farm-grown vegetables, and thoughtfully curated farm boxes to households across Visalia and beyond.
At Oak Patch Vegetables, farming is a family affair — and has been for generations. It all began with Tom and Katrin Newman, whose love for the land and commitment to sustainable, ethical farming set the roots for everything the farm is today. Their two sons Max and Eric grew up running through the fields, learning firsthand the rhythms of planting, tending, and harvesting. Today, Eric carries that legacy forward, bringing fresh, seasonal vegetables to our community.
Every harvest is more than produce — it’s a celebration of family, community, and a shared dedication to nourishing both people and the land.
